The Founder's Story

From Blown Accounts to Building Nigeria's Most Trusted Trading Community

In 2018, Paul Martins lost two trading accounts in under six months. Like thousands of Nigerian traders, he had been taught by YouTube videos, Telegram groups, and "gurus" who had never shown a verified statement in their lives.

The turn came when he discovered Inner Circle Trader (ICT) methodology and the foundational principles of Smart Money Concepts — the same frameworks used by banks and hedge funds. What followed was three years of obsessive study, demo trading, and live market application.

By 2021, Paul passed his FTMO challenge and became a funded trader. Recognising how few Nigerian traders had access to this level of education, he launched ApexCore with the mission of changing that permanently.
